System design and implementation for IOCL’s location intelligence: geospatial analytics, multi-layer data integration, and decision support for siting new fuel stations across India.

System design

Single source of truth in PostGIS: demographics, traffic, existing network, terrain. ETL to maintain layers; APIs for catchment analysis (ST_Within, ST_DWithin) and site scoring. Pre-aggregated grids for dashboard performance.

• Owned architecture for geospatial analytics and data pipelines; designed schemas, indexes, and API contracts for site-selection and feasibility.
